Tammy
Do you ever just get overwhelmed with life at times? We can get so busy in our daily lives as we are pulled in different directions. Life can just feel like it is out of balance. Here in my blog, I want to offer encouragement for daily living, provide content that is divinely inspired, and help you in your journey with God. The Bible is the best tool we have to know God and how we can choose to live our lives here on earth with our hearts and minds focused on eternal living. We can learn just how deeply God loves us.We do not have to earn his love. God demonstrated His love for us when he sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins, so that the Holy Spirit could come live inside of us to guide us. Reading the Bible can seem overwhelming and some of it just doesn’t make sense. I want to provide resources and content that will help give you purpose in your Bible reading. I want you to grow in your love for God and demonstrate His love to others.
I am a divorced woman in her mid 40’s and have two daughters that are in their early twenties. My family and friends describe me as kind, sweet, positive, caring, hard-working, and resilient. I am so excited to be working alongside my youngest daughter, Taylor, on this blog. She uses her God given creative talents to develop, design, and manage the blog. She will be adding posts at times as well. I can’t wait to see how she grows in her relationship with God through the blog! I am a middle school English teacher and currently pursuing my Master of Arts in English Education from Grand Canyon University. For fun, I enjoy visiting state parks, hiking in the mountains, chasing waterfalls, and kayaking. I was brave enough to try skydiving with my oldest daughter. What an exhilarating experience! I would totally do it again!
God, my circumstances, and my life experiences inspired me to create this blog. Through my blog, I want to connect with people that need encouragement when life gets challenging. It is my hope that you learn how to recognize the freedom in life that comes from being your authentic selves. I want people to know God in a way that they didn’t even realize was possible. As you apply what you learn here, I pray that your faith is strengthened as you learn how to trust and walk confidently in who God created you to be. Your life has purpose and meaning. Let’s do this journey through life together as we lean on God’s love for us and find hope in God. I want us to come to the blog to lift each other up, share our growth, offer compassion, speak the truth in love, lift each other up in prayer, and offer our genuine support for each other.
My faith in God is what reminds me that I am deeply loved by God. I don’t have to earn his love. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8 NIV). God has created a passion in my heart to offer inspiration and encouragement to people that can strengthen their relationship with God and make sense of this world as we learn to live according to the truth written in His word. Together, as we put our faith in God into action, we can choose to live life with our heart and mind focused on eternal life. We can come here and share our experiences about how we are sharing God’s love with others.
